Thanksgiving Meal Collection

WWCM will be closed Monday, January 20th, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Due to the inclement weather event, Dorcas and WWCM in-person/onsite operations will remain closed through Thursday, February 20.
This includes the Thrift Shop and donation drop-off, and the Community Support Center, Workforce Development Center and Dorcas Pantry in Cary, and the WWCM Office and Pantry in Apex.
Staff members at both locations will work remotely as possible and take calls and appointments virtually.
All volunteer shifts at both locations are cancelled for the day.
The decision to remain closed is based on current forecasts for frozen precipitation to continue through the evening and the likelihood of light precipitation tomorrow morning. With temperatures below freezing and heavy cloud cover on Thursday, melting will likely not start until Friday. The safety and well-being of our staff and volunteers is our number one priority.
Dorcas/WWCM Operations are expected to return to regular schedule on Friday, February 21, unless we communicate otherwise.
