Resource Assistance

A financial crisis does not discriminate. It can strike anyone and at the most unexpected time. Western Wake Crisis Ministry is ready to help you with unforeseen economic emergencies. If you live in Apex, New Hill, Friendship, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina or Willow Springs and need financial assistance, our financial volunteers are ready to assist.

Step 1: Eligibility Requirements

Question 1: Do you live in one of the following areas?

Apex, Holly Springs, Fuquay Varina, Willow Spring, New Hill, or Friendship?

If yes, please continue to Question 2

If no, please contact call 2-1-1 or 1-888-892-1162 

Question 2: Do you have a Housing Voucher or live in Public Housing?

If yes, please know that you are not eligible for rental assistance, but you may be eligible for utility assistance. Also, please note that we do not pay for hotel stays.

**Anyone in our service area is eligible to use our pantry once a month.  To set up an in-person shopping appointment please call 919-362-0657 Ext. 2**

Step 2: Documents Required

A valid photo ID for all adults in the home (e.g. driver’s license, government-issued ID, or passport) 

A copy of your past due utility bill or rent ledger from landlord.

A copy of your signed, current lease, if seeking rental assistance

Your prescription, if seeking assistance for medication

Proof of income for the past two months for all adults in the home. This may include paystubs, bank statements, any mobile payment apps (Cash App, Venmo, etc.) transaction histories, SSI, or SSDI statements.

Documentation of crisis, which is an unforeseen economic emergency. This may be recent medical paperwork, bill for high expense repair, car repair estimate, police report, court documentation, unemployment verification.
